Hi, my name is John Butts and welcome to my website: Siesta Key Landscape.

I'm originally from LaGrange, Georgia and I relocated to Sarasota in 2004 to take a Golf Course Superintendent position at The Oaks Club.

I've been in the landscape business to some extent almost all my life. I would help my grandparents in their garden when I was younger and mow lawns during the summer for extra money.

After 15 years in golf course management and course construction, I left to start my own business. My philosophy was simple.....be better than the competition, work harder, and provide Siesta Key and the surrounding areas with great landscape!

In this short time, we've been fortunate to meet so many great people and work on some of the most beautiful properties in this area. When I'm not working I spend time fishing, golfing, or on the boat with Bailey my Chocolate Lab.
